SolidWorks Course Seminar at A. C. Patil College of Engineering

Milestone Institute of Technology, on September 23, 2025, conducted a Seminar for the students of A. C. Patil College of Engineering, Kharghar on the AutoCAD Mechanical Course. The seminar briefed about AutoCAD Mechanical, one of the best computer-aided design software tools in mechanical engineering and product development. The session also included how the AutoCAD Mechanical Course supports the students with hands-on experience needed in the real world engineering design and manufacturing.

In the seminar, the our faculty explained the aspects or features of the SolidWorks such as; 3D modeling, assembly design, motion study, simulation, and how drawings are made using SolidWorks. Also talked about the significance of the engineering students being taught SolidWorks as it improves design accuracy, creativity, and technical understanding. A student prefer to use SolidWorks for creating their projects in SolidWorks.

Additionally, during the seminar, the participants were provided with a comprehensive presentation on prospective opportunities in the field after the successful completion of the SolidWorks Course. Such options included the opportunity to become a CAD Designer or a Mechanical Engineer, a Product Designer or a Simulation Specialist, or pursue a career as a Design Engineer. The faculty further stressed the importance of completing the course with the acquisition of the certification in SolidWorks to help students boost their professional experience and employment opportunities.

It was an informative and interesting session. Many practical applications were discussed which gave students ideas about how they should remain focused to build their technical skills. Generally, the seminar was very useful and helped to motivate students to focus on the SolidWorks Course to build upon this knowledge and career of mechanical engineering.
