SolidWorks Course Seminar at Lokmanya Tilak College

On 21st March 2025, Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering, Koparkhairne, held a seminar at which engineering students delivered information regarding SolidWorks Course. The lecture described the purpose of the lecture as an exploration of SolidWorks, the most popular 3D CAD software, which is commonly employed in mechanical design, product design, and engineering simulation. The course is intended for introducing the students to productive hands-on experience in real-world projects, particularly in mechanical and industrial design.

Our faculty presented the essential features of the SolidWorks Course during the seminar: 3D modeling, assembly design, motion study, simulation, and drawing creation. The faculty mentioned how significant mastering the SolidWorks Course for students is as it will expand their abilities while designing, develop creativity, and an excellent technical basis in high demand in the engineering sphere.

The seminar also covered the various career opportunities that one can get after finishing the SolidWorks Course, such as CAD Designer, Mechanical Engineer, Product Designer, Simulation Specialist, Design Engineer, etc. The students were enlightened on the need for certification in the SolidWorks Course certification.

The seminar session motivated the students to question and know the practical applications of  The SolidWorks Course. Seminar was highly fruitful and resourceful as it gave technical skills and additionally inspired the students to pursue the SolidWorks Course for further knowledge and its scope for their career to become a certified mechanical engineer.
